Our boy Luke Middleton threw down some content and prayer for us this past Sunday at Seven Mile Road. Focusing on Paul’s prayer for the Ephesians, a people whom he dearly loved, Luke focused some time and attention to praying this prayer into our lives during the sermon. Such a huge grace to us, yesterday.

Here’s some follow up for Gospel Community or personal use. Have at it!

This past Sunday we looked at Paul’s prayer for the Ephesians in Chapter 3. This is the second time that Paul’s prays in this letter for the Ephesians—a church that he knows and served for three years.

Read Ephesians 3:14-21.

1. Why is Paul praying this here and know in the letter? What moves him to pray?

2. If this prayer was answered in our individual lives and our life together as a church, what would the effects look like?

3. Where do you see the Trinity at work in this passage?

4. Take time to pray using this prayer as a launch-pad. You could pray for each other, the church, and those who don’t know Jesus.
