Luke Middleton preached for us this week and he lead us through Psalms 32 as he unpacked the liturgy of confession. Luke looked at confession first from the vantage point of acknowledging our sin and acknowledging the holiness of God, and then secondly, he unpacked our foundational assurance that we have forgiveness of sin because of the finished work of Jesus on the cross.

Read Psalm 32 with your group.

1. What are some of the reasons from Psalm 32 that David confesses his sin to God?

2. What does it look like for you to confess your sin? (Good and bad examples)

3. Read vs 11 out loud. Why should this be our response to confession?

4. In vs 5, why does God forgive my sin?

Our response to the loving forgiveness of God should be praise and worship. Take some time to pray your thankfulness to God with your group.
