As we continued working through Paul’s letter to the Ephesians this Sunday, we were able to see another dimension to the plan of God for the people of God. As His plan to create a new people unfolds, we see that in Christ people that otherwise may have nothing in common or may even be hostile toward each other are brought together.

Read Ephesians 2:11-18
1. What is the before and after picture that Paul paints regarding the Gentiles?
2. Where do you see the work of the entire Trinity in this passage?
3. What walls of hostility or division do you feel or experience in your life? How does the gospel help bring those walls down?
4. Have you experienced unity in Christ with people that you otherwise wouldn’t expect to have anything in common with? Are there any examples you can share? What does this say about the significance of our unity in Christ?
